Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Amana Microwave

Reidel55 3/6/2026

This microwave oven is great for its price. The functions on this unit are very easy to use with no confusion in operating it. This unit/brand was a straight forward easy to install with the template they provide. The easy to switch to exterior and interior venting was very easy to convert. All in all, this Amana microwave is great for homes that don't need the fancy mechanism microwave...just straight forward easy to use for everyday living.

I bought this because I couldn't get a replacement for my Whirlpool microwave. It's just as serviceable with the same features, but it has a push-button to open the door. I much prefer the handle on my Whirlpool.

Poor light

Bobbytom 11/20/2025

I just installed the microwave and it was pretty straightforward, as expected. Im writing this review before using the oven with the exception of heating up a cup of coffee. The reason for a 2 star review is the light that shines down onto the oven is a joke. It's located in the center-rear of the microwave so it only lights up the very back of the oven below. Coupled with the fact the light isnt bright at all, despite having 2 brightness settings. Which I would consider dim and dimmer. I looked at the bulb in hopes of replacing it with perhaps a LED or anything brighter. But the bulb looks like one used in the tail light of my pickup truck. A little more thought should have been used in the bulb placement by simply tilting it forward towards the burners. For most homes an under the range microwave light is the main light used for the stovetop. Come on Amana, you can do better.

I bought this as a replacement for one that was purchased just 4 years ago. Bought the exact one for easy replacement so as no hardware replacement was needed. The previous unit worked as it should have but very dissatisfied with the product not even lasting 4 years. When you spend $250 for an appliance you expect it to last more than 3 1/2 years. If this unit only lasts 4 years I will be done purchasing Amana appliances!

I love the microwave. My only complaint would be that it doesn't have a handle to pull open the door. But that's minor -- it does everything a great microwave should do.

Scratches very loud. Started shortly after installing it. Then the light burned out. I purchased it for my mother in law who lives in ND and I live in Iowa. She lives 90 miles from the closest large city. She says she doesn™€™t even like to use it because it is so loud.

It does its job

New kitchen 11/8/2024

I bought this to replace my countertop model in a recent kitchen renovation. It gets the job done although honestly, I liked my previous microwave better. This one performs as it should, but I do wish it had more preset functions and sensor cook options. Also, the light for the range top could be better. It is not as bright as I would like, and the placement is such that it does not adequately light the whole cooking area. The recirculating vent/ fan seems to work as it should although it is a bit on the loud side, especially on the high setting. One feature I do like is that I can set it to run for half an hour, and then automatically turn off. Overall, I™€™d say it™€™s a decent appliance and probably I™€™m just a bit spoiled by my previous model, which set my expectations for microwaves pretty high.

Very happy with the features.

-Jim 7/2/2024

I purchased this microwave back in 2017. I have been very happy with it through the years and used it often. However, as noted by others, the door switch seems a bit sensitive. A couple of weeks ago, when I started it, an extremely loud vibration and noise came within and it stopped working. An awful burned electrical fire smell filled the kitchen. I went to the store where I purchased it and actually found this exact unit. I was elated that I didn't have to modify my cupboards and install a new mounting bracket. All is well now and I am back to using my new, fully functional microwave. (But I do wish I could have gotten 10-years out of the old unit)

Good features, door latches questionable.

IamOCD2 3/27/2024

The only thing that concerns me is the door latches are different than the standard microwave latches, they seem like they may be weaker than those of other makes. The microwave frequently states the door isn't closed properly, but fear of damaging the latches makes me nervous about closing the door too harshly. I've read many of the reviews about this model and this seems to be a concern of others. So far so good, we've only had it for a month now.

Great appliance

Birgitta 2/29/2024

I bought this microwave a month ago and I am very happy with it. Easy to use. My only issue in comparison to my previous microwave that broke is that the old one had a very convenient feature regarding automatic button to press that sensed to cook fresh vegetables. With this Amana unit , it doesn't have that feature and I miss it. Now I have to guess the minutes it takes to cook whatever amount of a certain fresh vegetable . Otherwise I love this new appliance. It's clean and sleek looking and easy to use.

Too deep

huh? 2/13/2024

This microwave replaced one that was very complicated to operate and only lasted 7 years. We're happy with its operation except it is very deep and sticks way out over the stovetop. It would be great for someone who needs a large unit but I should have paid attention to the dimensions. I would have chosen one less deep

Good microwave

J&K623 6/21/2023

We have had the microwave for about a month. On the whole, it is a good purchase, altho we do have some concerns. The rotating dish takes up a lot of space. The old microwave didn't use the rotating dish and seemed to work fine. The vertical height adds very little space inside but the cabinet extends over an inch lower than we would like. The biggest complaint is the dim lighting inside coupled with a dark door making it difficult if not impossible to watch the food.

Decent Basic Microwave

Marty from Arizona 2/3/2023

This unit does what it is supposed to do: microwave stuff. The beeper is rather anemic, and you cannot use the microwave if the timer is in use. Further, the timer only gives one series of beeps when time is up: it should keep beeping. Also, there is no button for a beverage. And the fan is a bit noisier than I'd like. Other than that...
