This Frigidaire wall oven came as part of our "upgraded" kitchen during our home build. First, it is very loud. The sound of the fan is a nuisance. It takes forever to pre-heat, does not cook evenly, & not even two years into owning it with occasional-to-moderate use, it has now decided to completely stop working. Turns out its already a discontinued item so now we're having to look at spending $1k+ for *another* new oven. Not to mention, every time I try to call their warranty line, I get a "due to the unexpected high call volume, we cannot take your call. Goodbye." & then the automated system hangs up on me. Terrible product, terrible service. We tell everyone to avoid Frigidaire at all costs!!

AfterUpon using my oven yesterday there was continuous smoke coming from beneath my oven, and it smelled like a campfire. Long story short, after 45 minute of continuous thick smoke I called the fire department, and they were able to remove the oven and determine that it had caused a fire beneath it. Had we not been home or asleep this could have spread and caught the entire house on fire. In looking at the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission it turns out this oven was recalled due to a possibility of causing fire hazards! And now I have even further damage to my house including water damage to put out the fire. I have now been on hold waiting to speak to a customer service representative for over an hour and 18 minutes (and counting)™¦

We bought this oven to replace an existing wall mount oven. The first time it was used it wouldn™™t preheat so it was turned off. The second time a large meal was being prepared and the fire department had to be called to extinguish a smoldering fire in the cabinet. The fire report says faulty wiring in the conduit possibly.

seems to cook hotter than normal, had to adjust cooking times and temps per what most recipes call for, and after a month stopped working altogether. Have submitted warranty for repair. Hoping this will also fix the heating issue as we do like the oven.

Everything works as it should. Did have to find out the trick to the oven though. You MUST let it preheat all the way for your food to cook properly. If not, you stuff will burn on the top and bottom and not cook in the middle (i.e. biscuits).

Learning to ignore the instructions and lower the temp and increase the length of cook time has been an experience. For example Cornbread Soup, which tasted great by the way.Things look exceptional and taste great once you adjust your thinking.

The wall oven looks good and cooks well. The control panel is well laid out and intuitive to use. So overall very satisfied with the product.One problem has not been resolved. The oven light doesn't work. The appliance sales store referred us to your manufacturing after sales service. We were responded to quickly with a service the next day in our area. A service man arrived as promised and could not fix the light. It wasn't the bulb or anything he could find. He would have to remove the oven from the wall to further evaluate the source of failure. He was unable to safely remove the oven as he is a solo repairman and he doesn't possess a lift. He referred us back to the service center. After explaining the problem to a couple of other people, they could not find a solution and said they would further investigate and call back with a resolution. That has not happened. So after moving into our new build home on December 10, 2021 we still do not have a functional oven light nor do we have any further information from you as to how this problem may be resolved.
