I really love this cooktop! It looks beautiful, and works like a charm! The different sized burners give you great ranges of cooking temperatures from bringing quick boils down to slow simmering. I had read in some reviews the knobs were weak and would break, but so far not a problem with mine. All positive and no negative!

This cooktop has great quality and also looks great. The design is very good with the knobs at the front of the cooktop and the entire width of the cooktop available for cooking space. Also the grates are very good quality and design.

Stove Knobs are GARBAGE!!

Knobs break after only cooking 3 meals. Replacement knobs are made the same so not worth the 35 -40 dollar replacement cost. Will NOT purchase another Frigidaire appliance as they don't warrant the knobs.

I am so disappointed in this stove top. Within 6 months of owning this a knob broke. We did a lot of research and found that this was a common problem with these knobs. Frigidaire eventually mailed us a free replacement. Another broke a month later, we were told when we called again that the replacement would now be $60. Each. We started looking at other options. We have ordered, bought and returned 4 different models that don™€™t work. Another knob has broken. They are HORRIBLE. I don™€™t want to spend $120 to replace defective knobs. We are about to buy another cooktop, less than a year after purchase. This one will joy be Frigidaire.

The knobs keep breaking!!

I wish I would have read all of the reviews regarding the knobs before I purchased this cooktop! Within the first three months two of the knobs broke. We were told by Frigidaire there was nothing they could do and we had to purchase new knobs at $44 each. Sure enough, the new knobs are already broken and it™€™s only been two months since we replaced them. At this rate, it™€™s cheaper for us to get a new stove and not from Frigidaire!

Love the full coverage grates! My old cooktop had individual grates that were difficult to keep a pan on while using utensils if your hands were full. I knocked more than a couple onto the countertop! Easy to clean up spills too.

On the "plus" side, installation was very easy and replacing my old cooktop took less than a half hour. It looks nice and is a reasonable price. On the "minus" side, the knob area intrudes into the cooking area significantly. This means that there are no removable burner bowls available for the cooktop. This also means that anything that spills, burns on to the cooktop has to be cleaned whee it is and not in the sink or in the self cleaning oven. I still have burned on food that I can't get off.Also, if you use a large pot or griddle on the right front burner, the exhaust heat melts the right hand knob.I'd be extremely happy to be able to return this for a refund, however Home Depot doesn't consider "melting knobs and un-cleanable" to be valid return reasons, so now I'm stuck with it.TL/DR. It cooks well, but isn't meant for big pots or griddles and isn't fully cleanable.
