I purchased a Frigidaire AC unit 16 years ago and it died at the end of the summer 2023. In March I purchased a 18500 btu unit and installed it in May 2024, it is the best. Keeps my entire downstairs cool. When it dies in 15 years I will purchase another one. I love Frigidaire products.

Need a unit because my central heating air unit went out. 18,000 BTU is cooling a 3 Bdr 2 Bath - 1800 square ft. Doublewide home like nothing. I was very surprised and would recommend this one. Excellent product!

Only had it about 2 weeks but it is working great. Cools my whole 1st floor! Can keep it in the low 70™™s when it™™s 90™™s outside and it™™s not struggling at all. My pricey freidrich ac died on the hottest day of the year, It was only 7 years old. Hope this lasts longer!

PROs: ™ Very efficient cooling system in the ™ECONOMY™ mode. ™ It has all of the amenities I want in a window unit: Timer, Remote Sensing, Clean Filter indicator, good fan speed.™ I purchased the 5 year protection. I have had to use it the last few units I have had, and the customer service is excellent. They have sent replacement units without any arguments or hassles.CONs: The indicator lights and their labels are way too small. I have to look at them through a magnifying glass before I can read the label or determine if the light is on or not.NOTE: Make sure this unit is big enough for the space you are cooling. I am trying to cool 700 sqft in 100-degree Texas. It takes several hours to get the room from 86 down to 76 degrees.

Love to say a conditioner keeps my big ap I haven't shut this air conditioner off since i've got itartment nice and cool.It is very quiet. And efficient The only thing that was difficult was putting it together Thank God there was a video on YouTube to show how to assemble.Which was a great help.

Our house has never been this cool in the summer. We've actually had to set the temp up a degree or two higher than our old one because this ac has been so effective. It's been wonderful (and quieter).

We use this 18K window unit in our 16™™x16™™ bedroom as a supplement to central air. While sleeping we turn it on and turn off the central air to save costs. Wife likes to sleep cold and this unit will maintain minimum 64 degrees even in July-August. Install and noise level is typical of like units. This is a replacement for my first unit that lasted 12 years. I run this unit during power outages with an 8K portable generator with no problems. Not only would I buy again, I actually did.

DO NOT BUY!!!Lasted only 2 years. Lost refrigerant due to poor design. Cooper tubing extends all the way to the bottom where it sits in its own condensation and corrodes. What a huge disappointment. A name brand that one would expect better from. Needless to say I will never buy or recommend this company™™s products.

This ac unit is powerful! It replaced an antique wall-through unit that finally died. It fit into the same hole in the wall (brick house). It sits in the same outside cage as the old one. I run it on "low" ac setting, occasionally switching over to fan only. It's cooling approximately 800 sq. ft in three different rooms with no problem. Easy install and framing by my handyman and his helper. I'm cool, comfy, and happy.

I have had my AC window Unit one month over a year and it stopped cooling I did all the troubleshooting I called Frigidaire they couldn™™t help me cause my warranty ran out It is ashamed that they only make an air conditioner that only lasts one month over a year. Shame on you for taking an old woman™™s money. So my review is bad.

I just put mine in a week ago works fine. Yes it is true you can see what the temp is although if you set your temp just (hit the remote on button once and shows temp on unit. And if you hit it a second time it turns off. It does not show on the remote temp like the older units just on the air conditioner.

Installed unit at the beginning of 2022 summer. Air-Conditioning season here is about three months. Tried using the unit the following summer and found it did not cool. Called Frigidaire since the unit was approximately two weeks beyond the 1 year warranty date and only had three months service. Phone operator initially offered a 40% discount on a new unit, but then called back stating her supervisor did not approve the request. Hired a repair service who stated the unit lost refrigerant and was not worth fixing.

My wife and I recently purchased an Frigidaire 18,000 B. T.U. air conditioner. We couldn't be happier. It is efficient,energy friendly,relatively quiet and most importantly cools a living room and kitchen area. We even feel the cooling in another room. We also love the remote which displays the room temperature. If we ever have to replace our bedroom air conditioner (9,000 B.T U.),we will get another Frigidaire.

I purchased this unit on 4/28/2022. I just started to use it this month and it is not producing cool air. I am exactly 6 weeks past the one year warranty period. I have purchased many appliances from Frigidaire for my house. Back in 2018 I purchased the gallery series fridge, stove and microwave. Actually the microwave stopped working for me in January of this year so I had to buy another one, and I still chose a Frigidaire. I am asking if Frigidaire will send me another air conditioner with no cost to me, since I am only 6 weeks past the warranty deadline. I was given a few names for service companies, and they both said it would not be worth fixing and that they were surprised Frigidaire would not work with me on a resolution being it's just out of warranty. Please see what you can do to come to a resolution. If Frigidaire will provide me with another unit and the exact model at no charge, I will then elect to pay for a 2 year warranty.You are a huge company, and I consider myself to be a good customer. Hopefully we can come to a solution. thanks

Enjoyed less run time as compressor and circulating fan both shut off when set temperature is achieved.Shipping package could be more robust as it was damaged on a corner of the exterior cabinet.

Recently purchased a new air conditioner.Was really surprised by how powerful and quiet it was. Blows lots of cold air with no vibration. Easy to install, too. The only issue was after installing, I had to use a can of latex foam to seal out the bugs and make the installation air- tight--- this is between the inner unit and the outer shell at the bottom of the unit. Very easy to do and took less than 5 minutes. Overall, quite satisfied with my purchase.

So far I love almost everything about this unit. It replaced another old Frigidaire that was still working but only 8,000 but™™s. It was given to a friend and now has a second life and still working. This was the best in the market for the price. I only wish I had gotten a model with WiFi.
