This range is beautiful. Functions well on every level. The only issue I have is with the design of the top burner placement and the cast iron grid. The front and back burners are too far toward the center. Hard to get a pan centered on a burner. The grid is beautiful, however it is only two parts.whicj makes cleaning difficult. Have to lift both off because they interlock. I do love this range and oven until it comes time for clean the surface, and because I cook alot that is daily

Aqua lift self clean is a worthless feature. We are in our 70s and purchased this product based on self clean feature. We have difficulty getting on our knees...this is misleading and we regret purchasing this oven. Would like a complete refund. Since we purchased over a year ago that won't happen. We will sell this hunk of trash and never buy a Kitchen Aid product again. As to your description of "self clean " the word Charlaten comes to mind.

This was our 1st gas range. The most expensive part was getting a new gas line run to the stove area. We can now do home canning on top of the stove as we could not with glass top electric.

Since purchasing this stove on October 15, 2015, the build quality has been a major disappointment. First, the silver finish on the burner knobs began flaking off. While KitchenAid did send replacements, the indicator rings behind the knobs™€"which show the High, Medium, and Low settings™€"have now suffered the same fate. Why are such cheap materials being used on a brand once synonymous with quality? I™€™ve always trusted KitchenAid in the past, but after this experience, that confidence is gone.

Range is defective, Kitchenaid service is worst

My range arrived defective. The warranty tech came out and started the process with Kitchenaid to replace. When I followed up, customer service kept punting me off to different departments. i called every day and spent hours on the phone with them, with no result. I will never buy another Kitchenaid product. Also, the timer beeps for half a second and then turns off, instead of beeping continuously. I guess they designed it thinking you would be standing next to the range and watch the food cook. It's a complete disappointment.

Oven temp is incorrect

The oven temperature was never correct on the first and the second range replacement! Calibration did not work either. Temperature was typically 25 to 35 degrees colder than indicated on the control panel. Burners were ok, though there was limited flame control between high, medium and low.

Thin metal stovetop which scratches way too easily

I can't believe how quickly the top of this stove scratched during light usage. If not done extremely slowly and carefully, removing the 2 grates can easily gouge the top. I am extremely carefull and gentle on my appliances, but the top of this stove is NOT at all of the quality I expect from this company. In addition, the burner caps are a matte finish and are permanently stained. A ceramic gloss coating (like other sotaves have) could have prevented this. All in all...not that happy. Last Kitchenaid stove for me.

KitchenAid 30 inch 5 burner gas convection range

Beautiful and functional range. My only concern was that when the new range was delivered, the old one was to have been taken. My husband still had this agreement set up on his phone when purchased. The very polite delivery men said it was nit in their paperwork. They also took the initiatives to call their manager in our presence to inquire. Unfortunately, the manager confirmed that pick up was not communicated to them. We did have to take care of removing it on our own. I tried calling numerous numbers to follow up. After holding at least five times on different days and never being connected, I just gave up. We resolved this on our own, but did want to alert you to this problem. Thank you.

This stove is not quite right. The range works well but there are just so many little things that are slightly off: 1. The ™€œuser manual™€ was just an installation manual, with no real information on important things like what the different buttons represent and the temperature range they function at. Really frustrating and poorly done. 2. Bread proofing, which is why I chose this model, seems to be a lower temperature than I would use. My pan was cool to the touch. An extensive search of your website indicates it should be 90°, but a professional thermometer says 75. Then a recent email with links to product info said 75°, which I feel is lower than appropriate. And the temperature is not variable. 3. The oven temperature seems to be lower than settings at the higher end of the range. Things take significantly longer to bake than expected when set for 400+°. 4. The free griddle offer is a joke. The installer thought it is cast iron, but it™€™s not. It sounds like maybe coated cast aluminum but I never ordered it because the reviews were so bad (about the fact that the coating starts coming off within a month) that I will stick with my Lodge griddles, thank you.

Bought this for our newly built house along with microwave, fridge and dishwasher in Novermber. They advertised a free griddle with the range but had to register the range online, provide additional information, and it was supposed to be sent - still haven't received it. Aside from that, the range looks good, is functional but even the smallest of the five burners cannot be turned down low enough. You should be able to simmer without it boiling over on the lowest setting. It's a little too soon to rate the overall quality.

OK range, not as good as my old Bosch

Have trouble after 2 months of use. The gas valve isn™€™t opening on the convection bake setting. Also the temp continues to drop on convection bake setting. Before long my temp went from 350 to 160 degrees. Not impressed after only 2 months of use. I don™€™t like the piezo electric start for the burners, it seems so clunky and old fashioned.

A dozen loaves of bread, half a dozen pies, cookies and broiled chicken in the oven. Convection bake assured even baking of the bread and pies and the three level broil setting options were perfect for the chicken. The flat surface of the stove top is a plus, decent simmer on all burners, easy to use controls (both burners and oven). Three stews, pasta dishes, numerous breakfasts and the odd hotdog on the stove top. The cooking surface is easy to clean and maintain, you just have to follow the directions. I cannot find fault with this appliance, hence high marks all around.

The most powerful gas cooktop stove!

My new Kitchenaid stove is amazing. The removable center griddle opens up the entire stove top for cooking, burner sizes are great. The oven is huge, contains three racks for baking, is well lit. This stove can handle cooking everything for a big holiday meal. I really like the clear glass door so I can see exactly what is going on inside. I do highly recommend this model. There is a bread proofing mode that I am looking forward to using.

Range was delivered on August 7th. Stems on gas controls were bent. Service company came and straightened them with a pair of pliers. Poor design. Grids do not stay in place and scratch stove top. Cheaply made. Storage drawer is light and flimsy. According to oven thermometer oven temperature was off by 25 degrees.

Gas Convection Range - I like it!

I purchased this range about 2 months ago, and I really like it. It has a stainless steel top instead of a black top like my last range. The black top was hard to keep clean whereas the stainless steel is easy to clean and keep clean. I like all the oven controls which are located up on the back of the stove, and they are logical and easy to use. The gas burner controls are safe as they need a push in/then turn to start the gas and fire going. The oven is very large and has 3 racks which will be handy this coming Thanksgiving! This range has a small drawer in the bottom which provides good storage for large cookie sheets and such. This range has 5 burners which is very nice for cooking lots of food all at once.

Haven't used it enough to thoroughly rate. It ignites, food cooks, no gas leaks are detected. What more should I require?
