Stove delivered damaged, showed the driver and he said to call customer service. Now getting the run around in how to rectify THEIR mess. I have been transferred 4 times on hold for over a hour. Say I cannot use stove or I need to schedule repair. This is SO wrong.

What bothers me about the stove is that the Maytag emblem on the front of the stove is CROOKED! Is it possible for Maytag/Whirlpool to fix that? For the price you have to pay for things I would expect it to look better than having a crooked MAYTAG on the front of the stove. Also, I am not happy by to learn that Maytag is a Whirlpool product. I have had Whirlpool products in the past and have not been happy with them.

I hate this electric range.

I bought this range a month ago and there are a couple of things I'm not very happy with. The clock is a bright yellow which is hard for me to see because of my cataracts, I wish it was red or blue. Also I've noticed that the oven takes twice as long to heat up and when it does I can't hear the notification sound. Also I can't hear the notification sound when my food is cooked.

My new stove is looking old already

Bought stove month ago. Like the cooking and baking. However the glass top is horrible, it scratches too easily. My prior stove was the same but didn™€™t mark up like this one. I am tired of stressing over a simple frying pan scraping the stove top. Shouldn™€™t have to lift a heavy, hot frying pan up off the burner with one hand to prevent making a mark. Life is stressful enough.

Out of the box brand new stove started experiencing issues and called your company because I was told that you covered it for 1 yr. The brain or whatever you want to call it malfunctioned and the temperature was either not working or would overheat. I bought the stove because of the name brand being so good . However 1 yr later I am sitting with a stove that doesn't work at all and since I didn't purchase extra coverage I'm screwed I now have a stove that's 900.00piece of crap.

I so enjoy the cook top with the warming area and the 2 in one burner. I do not like not having a real handle on the drawer which is hard to open because it is a thinner metal used. Also I do not like the oven element on the top instead of the bottom and it takes forever to preheat. The price point was good.

Have has this stove less than 3 months, and there are lots of things wrong. Tried to contact Menards where we purchased - they won't stand behind it at all. Whirlpool says they don't have a local repair person, so we just wait and use a bad stove. Front left burner just heats a high - almost started a fire one day, broiler only works once in a while, oven door doesn't close properly & heat seeps out toward the stove top - what a lemon!

I've had this stove for about 5 months now and I have two complaints; 1) the stove top stains pretty easily, and 2). The light does not always indicate the surface is hot when the double burner is turned off. The timer sound is also a bit low. Though, these don't prevent the stove from doing its job. Overall, it was a good purchase for the price.

The stove was lovely, but it emitted horrendous fumes, that had made us sick. Had a service man check it, wash all of the parts, and still gave off sickening fumes. We returned it, and got a GE instead, did the same exact thing. Quality of these stoves as far as parts have gone out the window! Keep your old stove, until these companies make changes in the materials that they are building these stoves with.

Just after we purchased this electric range we attempted to use the oven and after the smoke cleared, the customer service rep told us this was normal experience. It stopped smoking 3 or 4 months later after which time the broiler quit working. Troubleshot the broiler & indication was the control board. Then the door hinge fell apart. We are shopping for another (non Maytag) range.

ome liquid spilled on the cooktop and shattered a top layer of the glass top. Still works but not happy. I found that if you turn on the broiler for about 10 minutes cuts way down on the preheat time for the oven.

I love this new range. I've only had it a month but as the oven is heating up I can prepare what is going to be baked. My cookies come out great, they are baked evenly on both cookie sheets. I baked a peppermint cheesecake for Christmas and it made a horrible mess inside the oven. I wiped up what I could and turned on the self cleaning oven feature; I was surprised there wasn't a lever to slide to lock the oven. After the cleaning cycle I was expecting to clean up a lot of ashes like my previous GE range. The oven was spotless just like it was before the cheesecake. I have used all of the burners now and I love the warming burner, it helps to have the whole meal hot when it's served. The only things I would change is the control panel so you know if you have on the large burner vs the small burner. Also I would make the pictures below the knobs just a little larger to know which burners are going to be turned on.

We bought 4 months ago used the selfclean and the oven doesn't work now ,we have to get a repair person and be here when they get here. Under warranty but it's a Maytag we shouldn't have to do this.
